Calling all youth sleuths! Do you love solving mysteries AND learning about local animals and ecosystems? If the answer is yes, then this is the perfect program for you! The Eco-Discovery program is a collaborative effort between the Sitka National Historical Park and the Sitka Sound Science Center that takes place on a monthly basis during the fall, winter, and spring. Detectives travel throughout the Science Center visiting different stations where they work side by side with educators and scientists to solve a mystery while gaining knowledge of the natural world in Sitka. This program is offered free to the public and is designed for youth in grades K-6. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
