Jacyn Schmidt (she/her) is the Regional Geoscience Specialist with the Environmental Department of Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (Tlingit & Haida). As a part of the Kutí Project (see page on the project), in collaboration with the Science Center, Jacyn works out of our research department offices. She was the Geosciences Coordinator at SSSC in 2021 and 2022, during which she worked closely with the Sitka Landslide Research Project (see sitkalandslide.org).
