Our Marine Debris project this year involves working with locals in Bering Sea communities to restore critical habitats by the removal of marine debris.   The Bering Sea crews are working in the following areas: Native Village of Nikolski, Native Village of Port Heiden, St Lawrence Island, and St. George Island.

Last week, 12,000 pounds of marine debris was collected on St George Island; this project is funded by NOAA Award NA15NMF4630067.
