A group to report, identify, and learn about sea life in Southeast Alaska

April 5, 2017, by admin

Have you encountered something new or unusual while out fishing, beachcombing, etc. and have a photo to share? Would you like help identifying something you have seen? Noticed any cool color variations or sea life that interests you?

If you answered ‘yes’, then please check out this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1209371232504604/!

This group was formed to share information about sea life found in Alaska. It also hopes to track the range of Pyrosoma atlanticum. These colonial tunicates have recently been spreading up the coast and any information about sightings would be greatly appreciated.
