The Sitka Sound Science Center is seeking enthusiastic citizen scientists! We need volunteers, who have access to a car and don’t mind being awake 45 minutes after sunset, to conduct bat driving surveys from your car. These simple surveys provide biologists at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game vital information about a little-known mammal in Alaska. Volunteers also get the chance to hear echolocation calls from the comfort of their car! Want to know more?
