Now Happening- WhaleFest Online Auction

The Sitka Sound Science Center is having a silent auction on May 16-22nd as a fundraiser for the 25th annual Sitka WhaleFest. Starting at noon on May 16th, this auction features a large variety of unique items from generous local artists and business owners such as a hand-made quilt, signed Jack Calvin photographs, a beautiful painted buoy by Sitka Artist, Laura Kaltenstein’s as well as a kayak adventure tour, a Ludvig’s Bistro certificate, and much more. All auction proceeds will benefit the 2021 WhaleFest Nov 4th – 7th.  On May 22nd to mark the close of the auction we will unveil this year Sitka WhaleFest theme.

This package includes chocolate, alder smoked, spruce tips, and original sea salts.
One the auction’s experience packages includes a 1/2 day kayak + cruise.
A unique collector item is a two-book series Birds of Washington
