Dr. Patrick Druckenmiller, curator of Earth Sciences, Alaska Museum of the North and Jim Baichtal, Sc.D. US. Forest Service Geologist will discuss recent paleontological finds in Alaska including dinosaurs in Denali and plants and animals of very long ago southeast Alaska.
The Natural History seminar series is supported by a grant from the Sitka Permanent Charitable Trust to the Sitka Sound Science Center and by University of Alaska Southeast, the National Park Service and US Forest Service.
