Happy first day back to (virtual) school Sitka students and teachers! We’d like to take a moment to recognize all the incredible teachers for working so hard to get their virtual classrooms up and running and students for adjusting quickly to online school. The Science Center wants to be here to support you in any way that we can. We will continue to post “Science Bites” throughout the week, so keep an eye out for them. However we will prioritize supporting teachers and students in their schoolwork, so the frequency in which new content is posted will adjust.  

We look forward to being here to provide science support for teachers, students, community members, and distant followers. Reach out if you have an idea or request!
