Here at the Sitka Sound Science Center we are proud to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day.

Everyday we are grateful and humbled to be on Lingít Aaní – Lingít land. The Lingít people have been Indigenous to these lands and waters for over 10,000 years. Gunalchéesh to the Lingít people for their stewardship of Lingít Aaní since time immemorial and today.
