The next Natural History Seminar Series will be on October 30, at 7:30 pm, in room 229 at UAS. The topic is Alpine Cairns: What do they have to teach us?

Dr. Tom Thornton presents the results of the oral history in relation to
other sources of evidence concerning glaciation, flooding and alpine
stacked rock features in the region, which have become touchstones of
Indigenous history, adaptation, and resilience.
