Angela Bowers

Angie grew up in Wisconsin and began working in Alaska Aquaculture in 2006, when she moved to Baranof Island to raise Pacific salmon at remote hatcheries. She worked for Northern Southeast Regional Aquaculture Association (NSRAA) and was the Aquaculture director at the Sitka Sound Science Center before becoming an Assistant professor in the Applied Fisheries Program at the University of Alaska Southeast in Sitka. She studied Biology and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and has her Masters degree from Oregon State University in Fisheries and Wildlife Administration.
