Rob Allen is a strategic advisor to SSSC, providing support in the areas of board training and development, community, partner, and donor relations, and the search for a new Executive Director. He served on the SSSC Board for more than ten years, including several years as chair before stepping down in 2024. Allen is a lifetime resident of Sitka. He is a former owner and President of Allen Marine Tours. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Sitka Community Hospital and more recently as interim General Manager of Sitka Tribe of Alaska. His long record of community service includes a term on the Sitka Assembly and two terms on the board of directors for Shee Atiká, Inc.
Allen is a graduate of Sitka High School. He has a bachelorʼs degree in history and a masterʼs degree in public administration from Harvard University.
