Robin Sherman is the interim Executive Director of SSSC. Sherman is a career generalist with decades of experience in nonprofit organizations and local, state, and Tribal government in roles encompassing management, education, planning and permitting, policy research, communications, and fundraising. She relocated from Massachusetts to Sitka in 2015. Since then, she has served as Director of Communications and Special Projects for Sitka Tribe of Alaska, as Executive Director of Justice Not Politics Alaska, and as interim General Manager of KCAW Raven Radio.  
Sherman has a bachelorʼs degree in environmental studies and English from Oberlin College, a masterʼs degree in urban and environmental policy from Tufts University, and a masterʼs degree in public administration from Harvard University.
