Stacy grew up in Ohio and moved to Sitka in 1994 to attend Sheldon Jackson College. She earned a BS in Aquatic Sciences with an emphasis in Marine Biology. She then earned her MAT in Secondary Education from UAS. Stacy is in her 22nd year of teaching for the Sitka School District. Stacy is passionate about the ocean and explores it through boating, fishing, travel, snorkeling, photography, and education.
