Stephanie was born and raised in Florida and earned her B.S. in environmental sciences from the University of Central Florida in May 2024. Her love for nature led her to intern at Archbold Biological Research Station, SSSC's sister station. It was there that she heard about the collaboration between field stations, was fascinated by the education team’s work, and decided to move across the country for a year of service at the Sitka Sound Science Center through Americorp / JVC Northwest, as the 2025-2026 Informal Educator. She is excited to learn and teach about the landscape ecology, entomology, and marine science of Sitka.
