Our staff has grown along with our visitors and we are so excited to get to know everyone better while enjoying this busy summer season together. We’ve welcomed 7 new and returning Science Guides to help with tours of our Hatcher and facilities, and even more High School students and graduates.

Our Science Guides will work directly with our visitors showing them the wonders of this natural environment we call home. From touch tanks in the aquarium filled with intertidal life to salmon swimming home to seed the next generation. There is so much to share and we are thrilled to have an amazing team joining us to help spread science education and appreciation.

Our younger cohort joins us to help across departments from summer camps, and hatchery maintenance, all the way to retail in our gift shop. All of these internships and positions provide amazing opportunities for our staff to learn on the job expanding their knowledge of both our facilities as well as themselves, guiding them towards their future careers.
