We’ve missed you!! SSSC is excited to announce that we will be opening the aquarium to the public starting Saturday, May 30^th.

This weekend, Saturday, May 23^rd and Sunday, May 24^th from 9am – 4pm, we will be open to members only by appointment. If your membership is current you should have received an email with the booking link.

With the health and safety concerns around COVID-19 we’ve made some changes to our operations and ask for your patience and understanding as we adapt. Here are some of the changes:

1. All visits are by appointment only. The blocks are a full hour long with 30 minutes between appointments to allow our staff time to clean.
2. To allow for proper social distancing of 6 feet we are currently limiting the number of visitors that can be in the aquarium to 8 at a time.
3. All SSSC staff and visitors over the age of 5 are required to wear a mask/cloth face covering when in the building. For children 2 and under per the CDC a mask is not recommended.
4. Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the building. Upon entering and exiting you should use sanitizer.

Our retail shop and Ludvig’s Chowder Cart will be opening soon in the Mill Building! Stay tuned for updates and details.
