Thank you to the Sitka Assembly for supporting science.

September 28, 2021, by admin

The Staff of the Sitka Sound Science Center would like to thank the Sitka assembly for their support of science in their decision to require masks in public spaces. Multiple peer reviewed studies, some of which are linked below, have proven the efficacy of mask wearing and demonstrated how mask wearing in public contributes to a safer environment for all. We at the Sitka Sound Science Center support mask wearing in public spaces as it is essential to curbing the effects of the pandemic and keeping our community healthy.
