Welcome to Ali Bayless. Ali will feature the Hawaiian ecosystem this Saturday during our Discovery Days “Where Do Our Whales Go?” event from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Open to members.

Next week, Ali is our Scientist in the Schools for the 1st grade unit on Intertidal studies.

Ali comes to us from the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Ali studies false killer whales and the tuna fishery as part of the SEASWAP research project.
